Reverb

-

Mixing-Basics-Strip_1Reverb is a time-based effect that emulates or recreates the natural ambience of an acoustic space. It is sometimes called echo (often used to describe delay as well) and is basically a series of delays that occur as a sound bounces around off the surfaces of a room or hall or even a canyon. Reverb can be captured naturally as ambience with an original recording or it can be added later with a handful of analog and digital techniques.
